The success of the “pivot to Asia” concept promoted by BISI is initially linked not so much to politics or economics as to the level of awareness among the general public and professional communities regarding Asia and Asian prospects. That is precisely why its implementation must be based on a separate comprehensive strategy and become a nationwide task.
The aim of the analytical project is to draw broad attention to the theme of the “Asian Renaissance” at the state level, to help change overall attitudes towards this topic, and to attempt to create an information and analytical foundation for the possible conceptual framing of the “Asian manoeuvre”.
The project envisages the publication of analytical materials by foreign experts from partner think tanks, BISI analysts and experts, as well as other authors specialising in this field. The topics covered include not only current international (regional) issues, but also various aspects of bilateral cooperation. On an informal level, the platform created is intended to become a kind of club of like-minded individuals by consolidating, around BISI as the country’s leading analytical centre, authoritative foreign and domestic experts specialising in the Asian region.
