The cyber attack defence system created in Belarus includes a whole range of both long-term and short-term measures. Pavel Legky, Deputy Director of the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research, informed journalists about it before the seminar-meeting ‘On the current state and directions of improvement of legislation regulating the spheres of data protection and cyber security’, which was held on 30 October in the House of Representatives of the National Assembly.
"The problems that exist in the sphere of data security today are accumulating over time. After all, the challenges that were relevant at the beginning of the digital age still exist. But more and more new ones are emerging," Pavel Legky noted.
While responding to reporters, the BISR Deputy Director drew attention to the fact that as the political campaign progresses, the intensity of cyber attacks will increase.
"But we have our own defence system, and it should work properly.”
