The upcoming election campaign in the new legal conditions is an important stage in the development of Belarusian society. This opinion was expressed by Ekaterina Petrashkevich, analyst at the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research.
Discussing the President's recent Address to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly, E. Petrashkevich noted that the Head of State paid special attention to the development of civil society and the deputies election in the new legal conditions.
"The upcoming election campaign in the new legal conditions is an important stage in the development of Belarusian society. I am sure it will give an opportunity to show maturity and responsibility of citizens, as well as determine the future of the country for the years to come", Ekaterina Petrashkevich said.
She added: "The development of the country, the development of regions and the quality of life of ordinary people depend on deputies of all levels, on their legislative activity. In the coming years, the new political model will have to demonstrate its advantages and stability in the political and public life of Belarus, play a significant role in the modernization of the management system, the development of civil society."
"The principle of working for the benefit of the state and people will turn the party system into another pillar of the country's stability, provide conditions for the formation of new generations of politicians and provide additional opportunities for people to participate in political life", the BISR analyst concluded.
