In her report “The All-Weather, All-Encompassing China–Belarus Strategic Partnership in the Economic Sphere,” Iryna Rusak noted that the strategic task of Belarus, as a small state, is not only to maintain its positions but also to actively leverage its export potential in conditions where China, as Belarus’s trading partner, acts as one of the key actors of the global economic order.

Yauheni Kharuk presented promising areas for the development of China–Belarus partnership in the field of youth policy and acquainted conference participants with the experience of the BISR youth analytical movement.

The discussion was animated by questions concerning Belarus’s role in the world and the strengthening of the potential for joint scientific research and expert cooperation to achieve global objectives.

At the end of the conference, BISR presented to the Centre for Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies of Liaoning University a Guide to Industrial Tourism “Two Countries, Thousands of Factories” in Chinese.
