July 21, Minsk / Rep. BELTA/. During a meeting with representatives of the Arab Parliament, analyst at the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Research (BISR) Anton Dudaronak spoke about interaction with analytical structures of the countries of the Arab world, BELTA news agency correspondent reports.

According to him, BISR interacts most productively with the Emirates Centre for Strategic Research, with which a memorandum of understanding was signed. Since 2023, Emirati experts have been actively participating in Belarusian flagship initiatives. A delegation from the centre took part in the international conference on Eurasian security in Minsk. A year ago, successful negotiations between BISR on joint research took place in the UAE.
The Belarusian Institute for Strategic Research maintains close relations with the Egyptian Council on Foreign Relations. The parties agreed to hold a joint expert event this year and are ready to sign a memorandum.

Contacts have also been established with the Centre for Arab-Eurasian Studies. Interaction has also been conducted with the analytical structures of Bahrain and Oman.
In addition, BISR is interested in developing ties with analytical structures in Libya, Jordan, and Syria.
Anton Dudaronak highlighted that expert diplomacy signifies bilateral relations as a whole. And the most important thing in international relations, according to him, is trust, which is formed through contacts.

The BISR analyst also informed about the results of a study of the media in the Arab world for 2023. He revealed how the perception of Belarus in these countries has changed. Thus, a breakthrough has been made from the image of a country under sanctions to a single image of a strategic and pragmatic partner in a multipolar world.
