The main problems that citizens note in healthcare are related to internal logistics. Such information, according to a social research implemented by the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research, was announced on the air of the ONT TV channel by BISR analyst Svetlana Aleinikova.
"The main problems that citizens note in healthcare are internal logistics, management in the healthcare sector", the analyst noted.
"Because the problems that exist and citizens are concerned about - the shortage of doctors, queues, lack of equipment somewhere, the need to contact different healthcare institutions - are related to internal issues of the organization. That is exactly what falls within the Chief Doctor's competence", Svetlana Aleinikova emphasized.
As reported, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed an order "On improving the efficiency of the health care system". Following the results of the meeting held on May 23, 2023, the Head of State gave specific instructions on restoring order in healthcare institutions at all levels, creating conditions for providing high-quality medical care to the population. At the same time, special attention should be paid to rural residents. Reports on the results of the work done will be presented to the head of state in January 2024.
