The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Belarus, within the chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, organized an expert discussion on the topic "The SCO uniting potential of the SCO in the emerging multipolar world".
The meeting participants discussed the main activities and priorities of the SCO on the eve of the July summit in Astana, at which Belarus is expected to increase its status to a full member, the political and diplomatic capabilities of the SCO in modern conditions, the economic and legal aspects of the organization's functioning as an instrument for preserving the global economy of an open type.
There was a lively exchange of opinions regarding mechanisms and approaches capable of strengthening the SCO's uniting potential, as well as on the possible contribution of Belarus to these processes.
Following the results of the event, an agreement was reached to continue expert cooperation on the SCO topic.
