Belarus follows a certain practice to attract investors. First of all, extensive programs operate within the framework of the Union State. They include a whole range of joint measures to strengthen security and address major socio-economic challenges facing our states. This was told by Irina Rusak, analyst of the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research, Candidate of Economic Sciences.
— Belarus and Russia have signed 28 such programs. They are aimed at implementing research, development, technological, production, organizational, economic and other work. In addition, there is close cooperation between our regions: the governors meet directly with President Alexander Lukashenko, which provides a powerful incentive for the effective development of the Belarusian economy. Only in 2023, our country was visited by 38 delegations led by the heads of various regions of Russia. Stable and trusting relations are an important mechanism for increasing the volume of mutual trade, deepening cooperation in various sectors of the economy, including investment cooperation in industry, agriculture, construction and humanitarian areas, the expert notes.
