Today, Mogilev region has asufficient investment potential. This is evidenced by a number of economic indicators.
In January-July 2023, the region reversed the negative dynamics of attracting investments in 2022. 1,336 million rubles of investments in fixed assets were used, or in comparable prices 109.7% against the level of January-July 2022. The pace is set by the construction industry. For 7 months of 2023, 177.7 thousand square meters of housing were put into operation, which is 145% compared to the level of January-July 2022.
Mogilev region also contributes to enhancing the technological sovereignty of the state through creating new industrial capacities and frontier technologies. At a given pace, a project is being implemented to organize the components production for petrochemical, gas transportation and flax processing equipment and precision mechanics enterprises on the basis of the Technolit Unitary Science Production Enterprise in Mogilev. The facility commissioning is scheduled for the 2nd quarter of 2024, but new products and components have already been produced and shipped in the amount of Br 1,499.89 thousand. All products are import-substituting.
A new production facility is being created – a waste recycling plant for the city of Bobruisk on the basis of the Mogilev Regional Capital Construction Department. At present, the construction readiness of the facility is over 80%, technological readiness is from 60% to 100%. Among the investment projects implemented under the "One District – One Project" program is a new workshop with the installation of a pelletizing line for processing heterogeneous secondary raw materials in Krugloye on the basis of Vostochny Recycling Plant LLC (commissioned in May 2023).
Several projects for breeding valuable fish species in the Khotimsk, Krasnopolsk, Cherikov districts are planned to be included in the Program of the South-Eastern Region of the Mogilev Region with the involvement of financing from the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus.
On the whole, investment activity and implementation of investment programs in the Mogilev region takes place in the mode of search and development of projects with a special emphasis on the examination and assessment of the final result, which indicates an understanding of the responsibility of participants for the result in the medium and long term.
