Valentin Starichenok, analyst of the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research, held a meeting with the ideological activists of the region.
The main subject of conversation was the current political agenda in our country.
"After 2020, Belarus lost a number of statuses that it had before: it ceased to be a bridge between East and West, they build an iron curtain for us and block the development of good neighborly relations," Valentin Starichenok stressed. "In such a situation, measures need to be taken, so instead of developing relations with the West, we made a turn towards the East: Russia, India, China and a number of other states. We are also establishing ties with Africa.
Special attention was paid to the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly. The specialist spoke about its role and functions. He noted that based on the People's Assembly results, new mechanisms for the work of our political system will be launched. Other topics for discussion were expectations from the Year of Quality and the importance of domestic media in shaping the political climate and public attitudes.
