On October 3-4, 2023, BISR analyst Anton Dudarenok took part in the International Research Conference "The Situation in Afghanistan and Its impact on Regional Security", organized by the Center for Scientific and Analytical Information of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Fund for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education with the support of the CSTO Secretariat.
In the course of the event, representatives of state bodies and international organizations, scientific institutions and think tanks, researchers and political scientists from Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan shared expert assessments on the state and trends of the situation in Afghanistan, the impact of the situation in this country on regional security.
