On January 15, 2024, BISR analyst Anton Dudarenok took part (online) in a round table meeting on the topic "The role of Russia and the BRICS+ countries in strengthening a multipolar world".
The event was organized within the framework of Russia's BRICS chairmanship by the Irkutsk Regional branch of the Youth Assembly of Peoples of the Russian Federation with the support of the Indian Center for Assistance to Overseas Initiatives.
The round table was attended by youth leaders, international relations experts, representatives of the Strategic Initiatives Agency, authorities of the Irkutsk region, leading regional universities, NGOs, diplomats and researchers from different BRICS countries.
As part of the discussion, the leitmotif of which was the strategic contribution of the BRICS+ countries to the process of promoting multipolarity, the BISR analyst presented to the audience a report on the topic "Belarus on the way to BRICS: prerequisites and basic goal setting".
