The entry of the Republic of Belarus into the electoral campaign, the significance and practical application of state symbols, verification of information in modern conditions – these and other issues were considered during a training seminar for ideological workers of enterprises and organizations, which was held in Kobrin region on September 28 under the auspices of the Department of ideological work and Youth Affairs of the district Executive Committee. Representatives of the Belarusian Society "Znanie" and the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research took part in the event.
According to analyst of the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research Sergey Zhuk, in the context of the current socio-political situation, ensuring electoral sovereignty – a system of measures to ensure the free expression of citizens' will, which should not be hindered by any external and internal political factors, is of particular importance. And the responsibility for this lies not only on state institutions, but also on all citizens of our country.
At the end of the training seminar, Sergey Zhuk told the audience about the origin, evolution and significance of the Belarusian national symbols of our country.
