On June 21, 2021, the Belarusian Embassy in Russia hosted an expert seminar "Belarus-Russia relations in present political processes" organized by the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research.
The BISR event was attended by representatives from a wide range of authoritative research institutions of the Russian Federation, including IMEMO, RANEPA, Institute of Russian History under Russian Academy of Sciences, RISS, MGIMO, CIS ATC, etc.
The sides discussed a number of relevant issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation concerning global and regional trends, integration initiatives involving Belarus and Russia, information security issues, prospects for the socio-political transformation of Belarus.
The participants agreed on the need to build up a systematic multi-format expert dialogue within the Union State framework.
