BISR analysts visited the main strategic facility of the country – the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant, which in the next decade is designed to ensure energy security, independence and high competitiveness of the national economy of our Belarus. BISR analysts were shown the key processes of the Belarusian NPP and the work of the training center. During the round table with the management and staff of the nuclear power plant, a media cross-section of energy topics was presented, risks and opportunities of covering this topic in the media field were discussed.
A significant event during the visit was a joint expert seminar with the Ostrovets District Executive Committee. BISR analysts shared the results of research on key aspects of foreign policy, electoral security, historical policy of the Republic of Belarus, and other current trends in Belarusian society. In order to update the political landscape of the country, it was proposed to implement more thoughtful work with young people, expand the forms and channels of communication with society, ensure close interaction of government bodies and civil society structures with intellectual and scientific centers of the country.
