On July 25, 2022, Director of the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research Oleg Makarov met with Sergey Lukashevich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Federative Republic of Brazil.
A thorough exchange of views took place on topical issues of the international agenda, prospects for the foreign policy of the Republic of Belarus in the Latin American region, and areas for the development of Belarusian-Brazilian cooperation. The meeting participants confirmed the important role of scientific and expert interaction in modern conditions.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on finding ways to strengthen the Latin American track of expert diplomacy.
