The visit of BISR Deputy Director Vitaly Stakhovsky to China organized at the invitation of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, is continuing this week.
On December 4, 2023, the BISR representative visited Hangzhou, the administrative center of the Chinese province of Zhejiang, as part of a multinational delegation of heads of foreign analytical centers.
In the format of an expert dialogue with representatives of the local administration, Vitaly Stakhovsky discussed the prospects for intensifying Belarusian-Chinese cooperation at the regional level with Miao Chenchao, Vice-president of the Belt and Road Regional Cooperation Committee, Jin Heng, Director of Foreign Affairs Office of Hangzhou Municipal People's Government, and Chen Zhoubin, deputy head of the Municipal Reform and Development Commission.
The meeting participants shared their views on a wide range of Belarusian-Chinese relations with an emphasis on industrial cooperation and the tourism sector, including in the context of the main results of the Head of State's visit to China and negotiations held at supreme level.
