On June 15-16, Oleg Makarov, the Director of BISR, participated in OSCE events "Day of cyber security/security of information and communication technologies (ICT)", and in the first meeting of the informal OSCE working group on cybersecurity/ICT security.
During the "Cybersecurity Day" a number of issues related to the public-private partnerships in the area of cybersecurity, as well as Confidence-building measures (CBMs) in the field of cybersecurity were addressed.
During the meeting, the OSCE informal working group discussed the work plan of the group for 2020, the proposals by the Member States for the practical application of the CBMs were presented, the views on the implementation of confidence building measures in the field of cybersecurity/ICT security at the national level were shared.
