On May 18, 2022, BISR held an expert meeting of the BISR Director Oleg Makarov with the Apostolic Nuncio to the Republic of Belarus, archbishop Ante Jozić.
The sides shared views on relevant issues of global challenges of today, prospects for developing bilateral cooperation, humanitarian aspects of the situation in the region. The participants also discussed the importance of strengthening the value approach in world politics, confirmed the significant role of expert dialogue in the conditions of the information society and the current changes in the worldview.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue cooperation between the BISR and the Apostolic Nunciature to Belarus on issues representing mutual interests.
