On March 23, 2021, Director of the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Researches Oleg Makarov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Belarus Nicolas De Lacoste. The meeting discussed prospects of partnership with French "think tanks" and reached an agreement on further interaction between the French diplomatic mission and the BISR in terms of developing mutually beneficial cooperation between analytical centers of the two countries. The parties exchanged views on inter-confessional relations in Belarus.
