The management and analysts of BISR took part in the XXIII Eurasian Economic Forum on October 7 and 8, 2020 in the format of a video conference. Marmara Group, Turkish Foundation for Strategic and Social Research, is the traditional organizer of the event.
At the conference the following questions were discussed: economy, energy, maintenance of peace and security in the Eurasian region, development of the One Belt and One Road initiative, and a New World Development after the coronavirus.
The Belarusian party spoke about the social-political risks of the post-covid world.
It was noted that "the politicization of the fight against the pandemia can disintegrate the international community even more, forming the preconditions for internal information wars." As a solution, it was suggested to make mutual assistance a fashion: "we need to share best practices, overcome contradictions and patterns of mutual perception of each other".
