Within the framework of the author's analytical media project "The Great Game in Asia 2.0", on September 14, 2022, BISR presented the results of an expert online survey conducted in June-July this year on the topic "Pivot to Asia".
The presentation aimed at bringing the survey results to the general public and professional communities, as well as launching the relevant information campaign in the media.
The event was held on the eve of the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Samarkand, where the official procedure of Belarus' accession to the organization as a full member will be launched, which further underlines our country's commitment to progressive and responsible movement towards the Greater Eurasian Space.
In addition to journalists of the leading Republican mass media, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Center for Marketing, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Agency for International Business Development and the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange took part in the presentation.
The results of the expert online survey showed that the professional communities of Belarus show a lively and diverse interest in Asian issues, positively assess the retrospective and the prospect of maintaining ties with Asia, are guided by priorities, and also realistically represent the problematic field of such cooperation and ways to solve existing problems.
The work within the framework of the author's analytical media project "The Great Game in Asia 2.0" continues.
