On October 29, 2021, BISR analysts took part in the round table "Regionalism in Modern conditions: problems and prospects for medium-sized and small countries".
The event took place as part of the XX International Scientific Conference "Belarus in the Modern World" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Belarusian State University.
The round table participants focused on the peculiarities of regional cooperation in the post-pandemic world.
Combining theoretical research and an attempt at their practical implementation are important for the effectiveness of further interstate dialogue and maintaining stability in the region.
Understanding the role of medium-sized and small countries in the context of increasing regionalization processes is necessary to preserve the potential of political, economic, humanitarian and other types of cooperation. Since the post-pandemic formats of interstate interaction are only being formulated, the urgent task of the scientific community is not only their holistic study, but also forecasting further trends in their development.
