On December 1, 2023, BISR Deputy Director Vitaly Stakhovsky met with Liu Jianchao, Head of the International Department of the of the Chinese Communist Party, on the sidelines of the international forum "Looking at Modern China from Abroad" in Shenzhen, China.
Delivering a personal message to the interlocutor from the Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus Igor Sergeenko, Vitaly Stakhovsky noted the constructive and effective nature of the expert interaction between the BISR and the analytical structures of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee. "Our deep and special relationship allows us to promote common interests and destiny, will further develop the all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries in the new era in order to strengthen the Belarusian-Chinese friendship," Vitaly Stakhovsky stressed.
The Sides noted mutual interest in deepening cooperation in technological development and enhancing contacts between representatives of the new generation of leaders.
Liu Jianchao was thanked for the support in the issue of admission of BISR to the Association of Analytical Centers of the Silk Road. Participation in this international platform is intended to increase the effectiveness of expert and analytical support for Belarusian-Chinese cooperation, as well as Belarus' significant contribution to the implementation of the Belt and Road initiative.
